MULTIBRAND: A Maid Brutally Tourtured in Saudi Arabia

MULTIBRAND: A Maid Brutally Tourtured in Saudi Arabia

Everyone should read this post how women specifically maids in Saudi Arabia are being tortured. Women in Saudi Arabia have very few rights and here is just another example. Saudi Arabia is the country we give Billions of Oil dollars to so they can keep treating women like dogs. Bravo

Michael Douglas' Ex-wife Law suit Thrown out of court

Michael Douglas might be losing his battle with throat cancer but he just won a battle with his Ex-Wife Diandra Luker. The pair have been divorced since 2000, Diandra went to court demanding 40% of the proceeds of Michael's Douglas latest and possibly his last film "Wall Street; Money Never sleeps". The Trial was held in New York and Judge Cooper who was presiding over the case said that New York was not the proper venue for the trial. The Couple divorced in California and Judge Cooper said that's were the case should be tried if at all.

How do feel about Diandra Luker, is she Cold hearted or just trying to get what she deserves? I am glad to see that Michael Douglas won this last battle against his Ex-Wife. You know even though he is in a lot of pain it had to put a smile on his face knowing his Ex isn't getting anything.

Charles Rangel is Found to have violated House ethics rules

Charles Rangle was found guilty of 11 ethics violations today by a House Panel , the ruling said that the violations have brought dishonor to the House of Representatives. On Monday Charles walked out of the House Ethics committee hearing declaring he could not afford a attorney to represent him. Charles said due to all of the attorney fees he has been paying over the last two years to defend himself against these ethics charges he no longer can afford an attorney he told the committee. The Ethics Committee took a total of four hours to conclude that Charles was guilty of 12 of the 13 counts against him.

These accusations started with a news report about Charles Rangle accepting four rent stabilized apartments below cost over two years ago. They also included a $60,000 accounting error on property he owns in the Dominican Republic among other things. In Charles's defense about the accounting error he said that he does not speak Spanish well so that's what created the the misunderstanding. I mean, that could happen right ? :) The Committee did clear him of trying to to build a school in his name because the donations to build the school could of been considered a gift.

The Problem I have with Charles Rangle is that he was the Chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee. One of the most powerful Committees in all of Congress. Charles out of everyone should of known the rules and followed them to lead by example. Instead he claims he does not understand Spanish? Come on, Charles Rangle is a legend in New York specifically Harlem and for him to make these claims of a language barrier and so on is embarrassing. I have always liked Charles Rangle and maybe I don't know the entire story, but I expect more from a man of his stature.

Charlie Sheen an American Icon ?

American actor Charlie Sheen, born Carlos Irwin Estevez in 1965, has led quite an interesting life and career over the years. His father, Martin Sheen, is also no exception with roles on the hit TV show The West Wing and in the movie Apocalypse Now. While Charlie Sheen is known today for starring in both TV shows Two and a Half Men and Spin City, he’s also had quite a few roles in some top grossing films of our days. These include Red Dawn, Platoon, and The Rookie as well as others. His film career piqued in the mid to late ‘80s with much help from his role as Bud Fox in Wall Street in 1987; “Life all comes down to a few moments. This is one of them.” Little did he know how true these words would be. In the early ‘90s Sheen drifted into smaller film roles including things like documentaries and a few cameos. He was also listed as the executive producer in the film The Chase in 1994.

Sheen’s film and television career may be a successful one, but the same can’t really be said for most of the rest of his life. He accidentally shot his then-fiancĂ©e in 1990, which he had a daughter with. Needless to say that relationship ended. In the ‘90s, he gained publicity for dating pornographic actresses. Any publicity is good publicity, right? Maybe this is true for your career but definitely not your health. These short term relationship run-ins led Sheen to shooting up cocaine in the late ‘90s leading to an accidental overdose and a ticket to rehab issued by his father. A few years later in 2002, he tried to settle down with actress Denise Richards and they eventually had two kids. But, a Hollywood marriage is apparently only a four year commitment as Richards filed for divorce and made it final in 2006. She claimed Sheen had picked up drugs again and started abusing alcohol as well as threatening abuse. With the two young girls, Richards played the best move she could think of.

Sheen remarried in 2008 but was again charged and this time arrested for domestic violence and menacing against his new wife. He plead guilty to the list of charges and served some jail time as well as anger management classes and a second trip to rehab.

Sheen may have had his moments of insanity, but he undeniably attributed to same of the most famous films of the ‘80s and ‘90s. It’s unfortunate that the fame of Hollywood could have contributed to his struggles, but the film and television industry wouldn’t be the same without his wit and charm. Here’s to you Charlie Sheen!
